Book excerpts:

"I Am Minnesota, I Am North Carolina"

I am hot, beautiful, cold, snowy, and grassy. I am home to 10,000 lakes, great students, the biggest mall, the best teachers, blizzards, ice castles, and tornadoes. I am Minneosta.

I am beautiful and snowy. I have mountains, an ocean shore, wonderful pen pals, and hurricanes. I am North Carolina.
