Virtual Authors: What did you do this past summer?

What were the favorite things you did this summer? Describe them in the order they happened and tell why what you did was fun.

Ms. Wollak said...: Right after school was done, I went to Literacy Camp at Camp Courage. It was fun because so many Highland students were at camp with me. I went home for a short time and then went back to AAC Camp. That is a session for kids who use devices to help them talk. It was a really hot week, but we had fun doing the play "Aladdin, Or the Genie Who Wanted a Voice". After camp, my husband and I went to the Canadian Rockies. That was great because we saw lots of beautiful lakes, mountains, and wild life.; 6:40 PM
Dave Koppenhaver said...: In June, I went to literacy camp at Camp Courage, too. It was fun because I got to see many of the Highland students I knew when I used to live in St. Peter, MN. I also got to see my good friend, Barb. After everyone went home at the end of the week, Barb and I had a nice, long walk beside the lake.; 12:47 PM
